My 16 year old son has a 1996 bmw 328ic. His airbag light came on after hitting a big water puddle in the street. The light has been on for about 9 months because I refused to pay someone to diagnose such an old car. I plugged the bmw scanner reset tool into the diagnostic port on the inside of the car, it turned the light off but it came right back on again. So I used it on the engine bay port and it turned it off on the first try. I reccomend this product to any of the older bmw owners who don't wish to spend a bunch of money having their car at the dealerships.

Is the "16 to 20 pin OBD connector cable" included with B800? Can you confirm with the warehouse?

this one working like a charm, fast shipping it local warehouse in CA where is closed to my house,
I got this tool open the box read the book how to start, can imagin that took 1 min
and i run out to pop the hood of my BMW 328I 1997, turn on power plug in the tool press scan to CA=clear Air Bag, hit enter it clear, just in second it done save me $80

B800 is for bmw car airbage between 1994-2003,no detail car model.1997 year bmw it should can do it. About why ask for rate stars, just want to know what customer think of our website, not have specific meaning,hope not bothering you.

Figured out that the OBD port for my 96 BMW Z3 was under the hood, instead of on the passenger side of the center console (port labled OBD) and reset tool work like a charm.

It took about 3 weeks to get the reset tool, and it doesn't appear to work on my 96 BMW Z3. Get flashing E10 in scan mode and flahing E11 in reset mode. Tried all the trouble shooting tips feasible and still no luck. Waiting for a response now to see if issue can be resolved.

hi I have a bmw 323i 1999 the passengers side door airbas deployed without having any accident, the car turned off 30 minutes after that. Can i use this tool or it has to be something else? one last question can u doit by yourself or i need a mechanic?
