The Autel MaxiIM IM508, IM608, and Otofix IM1 & IM2, when used with the Autel G-Box/G-Box2/G-Box3 programming adapter, can enable the "Add Key" functionality for BMW G-Chassis and later F-Chassis models.
To activate this feature, the Autel BMW G License is required. Follow the guide below to purchase the license directly on your Autel/Otofix tablet.
For example: Autel MaxiIM tablet
Select MaxiIM>> IMMO>> Accept the disclaimer>> BMW>> System selection>> Immobilizer>> BDC2 immobilizer>> Programming operation>> ECU preprocessing
In the Purchase page, tick the second option “BMW Activation of Add Key Function-BDC02”, and then click “OK”
Select the payment method: Credit card or Paypal
For example: select credit card
Input the email, card info., cardholder name, country or region
You will receive a confirm message, follow the on-screen prompt to enter the code to continue.
