I have tried several methods, windows versions etc. This product does not work on the Hilux or Corolla vehicles. The software see the cable but the moment it is plugged into the vehicle it loose all connection to the cable. We found the chip is not compatible to the CAN bus of the Hilux or Corolla. Please assure you state for what vehicles it works and what not. Generic name of a manufacturer is willful misleading and false advertising.

Just arrived earlier today, in less then 2 weeks. Installed a virtual windowsXP machine(free from Microsoft) on my win7 laptop, loaded the Techstream software, installed the driver and attached the cable. Went out to my new Prius and turned off the reverse beep, altered door locks and a few other changes in just a few minutes. This MiniVCI cable and software work perfectly. Even used it for data logging while driving around the blocks a few times to watch hybrid MG speeds and temps. I am very happy with the purchase and the service.

Does this work with Toyota Camry 2013, and if possible what can it do.

The techstreaam_setup_v8.10.021 program will not install on my Windows 7 Pro computer. There is an error that prevents the extraction from completing. I do not have a CD/DVD drive so I use the download from uobd2 web link above. How do I fix this and get it to install?
