Hello Ben, the major difference is on hardware configuration. Launch ProS is the newer design. Software are the same.

I am from South africa.due to laws , my age and because I am white.makes it impossible to find work.i have decided I will open a ecu repair shop.first I need a really good diagnostic tool.the best for less money.launch x431 v pro v 4.0 look good.some says topdon Phoenix plus is the one.can I ask you please for advise.i don't want to make a mistake.

Hi sir, good day. Launch X431 PROS is a good choice for diagnosis and service functions at a reasonable price. While sorry we don't have the MST9000 on sale anymore.

LAUNCH X431 PROS V1.0 is LAUNCH X431 PROS V4.0.
LAUNCH X431 Pros V1.0 and V4.0 are just the difference in appearance, both software, hardware and all functions are the same.
