Hi, FT-OBD tool can work alone or I have to use it with MINI KEY TOOL together?

Xhorse FT-OBD tool can work alone. It only has to connect the mini key tool when you want to do all key lost to generate emergency key.

I want to add a new key, do I need to connect the mini key tool max with XHORSE FT-OBD TOOL?

To add a new key, it's no need to connect to the mini key tool. Only when users operate all keys lost or backup eep to generate emergency keys, they must use VVDI Mini Key Tool or VVDI Key Tool Max/ Max pro to generate corresponding options before using FT-OBD tool.
