I have purchased this scanner for my 2007 Mitsubishi Pajero. I cannot use it at all and am returning it at my expense to the supplier.
It may perform basic functions but it will not interface with MUT3 software. In my case the MiScan will not even connect with my ECU.
If you have a Mistsubishi I would stay away from this scanning tool.

I have an miscan m8 unit and Mitsubishi lancer x 2007. Software version is 2.9.0.0. Hardware version is 3.1. COM port of device 2. Unfortunately, Miscan can find nothing of ECU's using in my lancer X. Can't find even CAN bus. Can you help me? What is wrang?
Maybe MISCAN can't work with my car and i need to sold it?

I own a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart.
In some of your replies, you say that this unit cannot program, only diagnose. However, one of the key features in the description says:
3. Coding, programming and immobilizer for Toyota, Honda and Mitsuhishi.
I have 2 questions for you:
1. Are you sure this unit cannot be used to program the ECU using Mitsubishi's MUT3 software? If so, why does the description say you can?
2. Does the CD that comes with this unit contain the MUT3 software? If not, where can I get it if I were to purchase this unit?

It has the function of programming but we are not sure it can do it perfectly as it is mainly a diagnostic tool for selling by our side,if you need one tool that program your kays or ECU ,you can refer to ohter tools on our website,they are professional tool in programming,thank you !
