tried to make a spare key for a 2010 328i today and multitool let me down.. updated from 4.9 to 7.0, but when I access the car's cas, it says I need to update the cas which will take 30 mins and that it could lock the elk or ilk module... There is no support from X-horse anymore, or if there is, you can't find it on the web.. So sad.. this was a very nice tool..

I used this tool for the first time today. I was trying to program and learn a new fob key into a 2006 325i E90 chassis. I had left the laptop that had the program on it at home but had backup laptop in van. It took all of 30 minutes to load program on laptop and make a dealer key that started car... and the remote worked fine too... This tool is worth every penny of it's price. If you have a working key, it is so easy my dog could do this... If you have no key, it takes a little longer, but still easy..
